| Indovisco SGP-F20i
is a pure food grade semi-refined iota carrageenan, a natural product processed
from the red seaweed called Eucheuma spinosum. It is designed for
use as thickening agent for food products that require medium viscosity
after sterilization or for food products that require very soft and elastic
gel without water separation. At very low concentrations, Indovisco
SGP-F20i with its unique protein complexing characteristics
is effective for use as suspending, emulsifying, thickening and stabilizing
agent for milk-based applications. It is highly stable in ambient conditions
and is excellent for use in products that undergo freezing-and-thawing
during processing and storage to control purge and syneresis and to maintain
the firmness and texture of the final product. |
